English: Earl of Zetland was a full-rigged iron ship, built 1875 by A McMillan & Son Dumbarton, Yard No 183 for A Thomson & Nephews. C. 1880 sold to Menzies J. R., Leith. 1899 sold to Blom A. E., Nystad (Finland, then part of Russia). On October 5th, 1905, she was wrecked at Vang, near Hasle, NW of Bornholm Island, while on a voyage from Sundsvall to Delagoa Bay, South Africa, with a cargo of timber.
Her dimensions were length × beam × depth = 236.5 × 37.7 × 22.4 ft (72 × 11.4 × 6.8 m) and she had a tonnage of 1534 GRT and 1461 NRT. (IMO-Nr.: 71698)[1][2][3]
