English: The Dumfriesshire was a iron barque built 1877 by Russell & Co Port Glasgow (Yard No 10) for Thomas Law & Co, Glasgow. 1907 she was sold to a Norwegian owner and 1916 to Danish owners. The barque was scrapped in 1923.
Her dimensions were length × beam × depth = 226.6 × 36.2 × 21.5 ft (69 × 11 × 6.5 m) and she had a tonnage of 1262 GRT.[1]
