English: Dickenson Road Studios was a film and television studio in Manchester, UK. It was housed in a disused Wesleyan Methodist Chapel on Dickenson Road, Rusholme, and opened in 1945 by the motion picture company Mancunian Films. It was later taken over by the BBC in 1954, and it became the first regional BBC Television studio outside London. Notably, it was used for the first broadcasts of Top of the Pops. It was closed and demolished in 1975.
