English: Photochrom postcards, and images used for photochrom postcards, by the Detroit Publishing Co., known until 1905 as the Detroit Photographic Company. Views outside America (Canada, United States, Mexico, Cuba) should be categorized under Category:P.Z.

Copyright[edit]

English: The Library of Congress writes: "Detroit Publishing Company photos were published primarily between the 1890s and the 1930s. Those published more than 95 years ago are in the public domain. A few images were published 95 years ago or less and could be restricted by copyright if the copyright was registered and renewed."

Both Alamy and Shorpy have copies of the images that are watermarked, giving the false impression that they are the copyright rights holder.
