English: As its name tells, the 대전 둘레산길 (Daejeon dulesangil) is a circular mountain trail around the city of Daejeon.

Its about 133 km comprises 12 parts (구간) of about 10 to 14 km each. Almost all of the trail follows up and down the ridges between the tops of the mountains with their elevations between 200 and 600 m. Lots of boardwalks, steps, stairs, handrails and bridges minimize erosion and ensure the security. Many resting areas are offered.

Almost all of the trail is well blazed and signed; only at very few places the walker is let down without any hint where to continue.


Deutsch: Der 대전 둘레산길 (Daejeon dulesangil) ist, wie der Name sagt, ein Berg-Rundwanderweg, um die Großstadt Daejeon im Zentrum von Südkorea.

Der ca. 133 km lange Trail ist in 12 Etappen (구간) unterteilt, die jeweils zwischen ca. 10 bis 14 km lang sind. Fast durchwegs ist der Weg auf den Bergkämmen angelegt; eine stete Folge von Auf- und Abstiegen verbindet die zahlreichen Bergkuppen, die jeweils ca. 200 bis 600 m hoch sind. Viele aufwendige Baumaßnahmen (Stufen, Treppen, Geländer, Stege, Brücken) vermindern die Erosion und erhöhen die Sicherheit der Wanderer. Oft sind Sitzbänke errichtet, und immer wieder gibt es die für Korea typischen "Häuschen", auch in ansprechender konventioneller Bauweise.

Fast durchwegs ist der Trail ausreichend bis überreichlich markiert und beschildert, in einigen wenigen Fällen allerdings wird der den Weg suchende Wanderer völlig im Stich gelassen.
