A Dutch fort shaped commemorative pylon was unvieled at Bheemunipatnam on the 150th Anniversary (celebrated in 2011) of Bheemili Municipality, Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh, India.
The lower portion shows the Dutch people and local businessmen along with workers with backdrop of sea waters and Dutch ships and Bhimili Hillock.
The upper portion shows some fisherman on sea, sales of fishes at beach and local vendor reliefs with back drops of Bhimili hillock, palm trees and Dolphins.
The top portion shows a Dutch Navigator relief looking towards sea.
