English: "Clandestine Services History, Overthrow of Premier Mossadeq of Iran" is one of the three known internal histories of the Central Intelligence Agency about the 1953 Iranian coup d'état (TPAJAX). The document was written by operative Donald Wilber in 1954 and The New York Times posted virtually the entire document online in 2000 after an unnamed former official leaked it to reporter James Risen. The CIA has refused to declassify the document until now and only released one sentence out of 200 pages ("Headquarters spent a day featured by depression and despair", from page 64) in 1999.
