English: The City of Cambridge was a British cargo steamer built 1870 by Barclay Curle & Company Glasgow (Yard No 207) for George Smith & Co Glasgow (the City Line). Her dimensions were: length × beam × depth = 326.5 × 36.1 × 27.7 ft (99.5 × 11 × 8.4 m) and her tonnages were 2,329 GRT, 1,490 NRT. 1881 Sold to Cayzer, Irvine and Co (Clan Line) in 1881 and renamed Clan Maclean. The ship was wrecked in August 13 1903 six miles north of Cape St Vincent.[1]
