English: Over the years, there have been five City Halls in Houston.
From 1841 to 1939, Houston municipal government was headquartered at Old Market Square, located on the city block bordered by Congress, Milam, Preston, and Travis streets.
First City Hall / Market House: 1841 to 1873; replaced by a new building in 1873.
City Hall / Market House #2: 1873 - 1876; destroyed by fire.
City Hall / Market House #3: 1876-1901; destroyed by fire.
City Hall / Market House #4: 1904-1960; destroyed by fire.
City Hall #5 (Bagby Street): 1939-present.
