English: Charles Dickens was an iron-hulled ship, built in 1856 by Smith & Rodger of Govan, Glasgow as the sail-steamer Danube. Her first owner was Bibby Line of Liverpool, and in 1873 she passed to Leyland Line.
In 1874 Robert Sloman of Hamburg bought her, had her converted into a three-masted fully-rigged sailing ship, and renamed her Charles Dickens. In 1897 she was sold to A.P. Ulriksen of Mandal, Norway. In 1909 she was either scrapped or lost at sea.
