English: From 1942 through to 1945, Cecil Beaton was an official photographer for the UK Ministry of Information. His primary task was to take photographs of the Home Front. Photographs taken for the Ministry of Information are protected by Crown Copyright which expires after a maximum of 50 years from the date of creation of a photograph. Consequently these are in the Public Domain.
