English: Burrough on the Hill is a small village 5 miles south of Melton Mowbray,Leicestershire.It has a population of between 150-200 and the parish church is St.Mary.Close by is the country park of Burrough Hill,an Iron Age hill fort.This is one of the highest points in Leicestershire at 690 feet and provides excellent views towards Melton Mowbray.
