English: Building 32, also known as the Former Defensive Guard House, is located at the eastern end of the north main ditch below the King’s Bastion at the Québec Citadel National Historic Site of Canada. It is a small, squat, one storey masonry building with a gable roof supported by wood rafters. A chimney rises through the roof, which is covered in painted tin sheeting. The imposing walls of the Citadel flank the Guard House.
Français : Le bâtiment 32, aussi appelé l’ancien corps de garde défensif, se trouve à l’extrémité est du fossé principal nord, en contrebas du bastion du Roi au lieu national historique du Canada de la Citadelle-de-Québec. Il s’agit d’un petit bâtiment de maçonnerie trapu de plain-pied, couvert d’un toit à deux versants soutenu par des chevrons de bois. Une cheminée perce la toiture revêtue de tôle peinte. Les murs imposants de la Citadelle flanquent le corps défensif.
