English: This shunting locomotive entered service with British Railways in May 1956. Originally number 13308, it was renumbered D3308 in October 1958 and in March 1974 it was given the TOPS-series number 08238. It was withdrawn in March 1984 and sold for industrial use in Gloucestershire but this did not happen, after being stored at Gloucester it was taken to Swindon for preservation in November 1988.
