Français : Le panorama est constitué d'une toile peinte (10 mètres de haut par 112 mètres de long, 35,6 mètres de diamètre) et d'un « faux-terrain » situé entre le public et la toile. Sur l'avant-scène, le paysage reconstruit («landscape»), se trouvent des statues et des objets. Il y a une continuité entre la toile et le faux-terrain (voir les détails, «joints»). On peut voir les colonnes venant de France, le hameau de Verrières-le-Joux, et à l'opposé le village suisse des Verrières.

Deutsch: Das Panorama besteht aus einer bemalten Leinwand (10 Meter hoch und 112 Meter lang, 35,6 Meter im Durchmesser) und einem "falschen Boden" zwischen der Öffentlichkeit und der Leinwand. Auf dem falschen Boden, der rekonstruierten Landschaft, stehen Statuen und Objekte. Es besteht Kontinuität zwischen der Leinwand und dem falschen Grund (“joints”).

English: The panorama consists of a painted canvas (10 meters high by 112 meters long, 35.6 meters in diameter) and a "false ground" located between the public and the canvas. On the false ground, the reconstructed landscape, are placed statues and objects. There is continuity between the canvas and the false ground (“joints”).
