English: The Blanca was a Norwegian barque of 1591 tons. The vessel was built in 1875 as fullrigged ship Auriga by Scotts Greenock (Yard No 166) for Star Navigation Co Ltd, Liverpool. The Auriga was sold in 1881 to the Sierra Shipping Co. Ltd. and renamed Sierra Blanca. 1902 she was sold to H&A Hanssen, Norway and renamed Blanca. 1917 she sailed Stornoway for Aarhus and was never seen.[1][2]
