Four bridges have been at this location over the years. The first bridge at the site was built in 1801. There was no bridge on the site from 1853 to 1873. The third bridge was dedicated in 1896 and demolished in 2010. A temporary 700XS Acrow Bridge served from 2010 to 2015. The current bridge opened to traffic on August 28, 2015.
