English: The Barber Brothers Paper Mill in Georgetown, Ontario was established after closure of the family's carding mill in the town, as the family had built a new carding mill in Streetsville. It was created by a Scotsman named David Forbes, who rented a building and power from the Barber's, but ultimately abandoned the project. The Barber family assumed operations of the paper mill in the 1853 stone building, and in 1858 erected a second building.
