English: The Balmoral was a four-masted iron barque built in 1892 by W.H. Potter & Co., Liverpool for Macvicar, Marshall Co., Liverpool. Her dimensions were: length × beam × depth = 301.7 × 41.8 × 24.5 ft (91.9 × 12.7 × 7.4 m), she had a tonnage of 2614 GRT and 2449 NRT and she rigged with royal sails over double top- and topgallant sails. 1898 she was in a collision with the fourmasted barque Glenericht. 1911 sold to A. fu P. Milesi, Genova. 1916 she was sunk by a German submarine at Capo Mele on voyage from Europe to South America. [1]
