Category:Büheler Wappenbuch

English: Sebald Büheler (also Sebolt, Sébald, Seobaldt, Sebaldus, Sebaldüs / Buheler, Buehler, Bühler, Beüheler) (1529-1594/1595) created an armorial known as the Büheler Wappenbuch, the Wappenbuch der Straßburger Stettmeister und Ammeister and the Armorial des Stettmeister et Ammeister, between 1582-1589. After his dead there were additions made by others, until 1789. There are at least two copies known:

1. The one that was scanned by the Badische Landesbibliothek in Karlsruhe, named 'Wappenbuch der Straßburger Stettmeister und Ammeister' (pdf file)
2. The one in the collection of the Musée historique de Strasbourg‎.

They look alike, but there are small differences, compare for instance pages 69 and 70 of the pdf file with file 12 and file 11 of the Musée historique de Strasbourg book.
