English: This pocket watch displays both conventional 24 hour time and French Republican decimal time, but in a rather unique way. The main (inner) timescale is divided in two, with the right (AM) side marked in decimal hours I-V and decimal minutes, and the left (PM) side marked in 12 conventional hours (1-12) and quarter hours. The outer timescale is marked in conventional minutes (15/30/45/60). The hands of the watch include: an hour hand, rotating once in a 24 conventional hour / 10 decimal hour day; a conventional minute hand, rotating once in a conventional hour (60 conventional minutes); and a decimal minute hand, rotating once in a decimal hour (100 decimal minutes). The fourth hand is unlikely to be a second hand, as the conventional minute and decimal minute were unequal, but is more likely a date hand, for the 30 days of the French Republican month.
