Images placed in this category will be automatically cropped and overwritten by Faebot (if the original has value as an archive image, then this process should not be used as it should be created as an alternative new file). Suitable images should preferably be centrally located on the page and have a reasonable single-colour margin to be cropped which has hardly any noise or marks. Clearly visible marks or foxing may be detected by Faebot as part of the desired image. Some noise at the edge will be ignored and cropped on the presumption that the border may be the binding of a book page or background from a scanner (maximum of 50 pixels). Colour images are likely to be more problematic than black and white. Images without clear edges, such as a weak edged watercolour painting, are likely to be over-cropped and are best avoided.
