Deutsch: Die Astana-Gräber (genannt) liegen auf dem Gebiet der Stadt Turfan, ca. 40 km südöstlich von Turfan, im heutigen Uigurischen Autonomen Gebiet Xinjiang in China.
English: The Astana Graves (Chinese: 阿斯塔那古墓, Pinyin: Āsītǎnà Gǔmù) are a series of underground tombs located 6km from the ancient city of Gaochang, and 42km from Turpan, in Xinjiang, China. The tombs were used by the inhabitants of Gaochang, both commoners and locals, for about 600 years from 200 CE – 800 CE. The complex covers 10 square kilometers and contains over 1,000 tombs. Different plots for separate castes and families are marked by gravel dividers. Due to the arid environment many important artifacts have been well preserved at the tombs, including natural mummies.
Italiano: Le tombe di Astana ( cinese: 阿斯塔那古墓, pinyin: Āsītǎnà Gǔmù) sono una serie di tombe sotterranee situate a 6 km dall'antica città di Gaochang, ed a 42 km da Turfan, in Xinjiang, Cina. Le tombe vennero usate dagli abitanti di Gaochang per circa 600 anni, dal 200 all'800. Il complesso ricopre 10 km2 e contiene oltre 1000 tombe. I diversi lotti destinati a caste e famiglie diverse sono marcati con dei confini. A causa dell'ambiente arido molti artefatti si sono conservati in ottimo stato, comprese alcune mumie naturali.
