Operating with the loaded American Liberty ship "Lipari" to the jetty Trompeloup with 6,000 tons of miscellaneous equipment, capsized and sank immediately, killing three victims. The boss Mr. Houris, and three sailors succeeded in reaching the shore by swimming, but the other three sailors, MM Lesbas, Proster and Ferlut, were swallowed up by the boat.
