English: No. 5929 (reg. P929 MKL) was one of the last buses delivered to Maidstone & District before their sale to Arriva, leading to their renaming and rebranding as Arriva Kent & Sussex. Having remained with M&D/AK&S ever since, as part of the centenary celebrations for M&D (the centrepiece of which was the M&D 100 rally in Detling), 5929 was repainted back into the last version of M&D livery it wore when new, albeit with Arriva fleetnames on the front. It was unveiled on 21 March 2011 [1]. As well as M&D 100, it also went on to appear at other shows, including Showbus 2011 and the M&D and EK 60 event at Detling in 2012, before being repainted into the new Arriva inter-urban livery in the summer of 2012. After being withdrawn in March 2013, it was towed to Southend for storage in August 2013.
