English: 44-001 is the prototype Waveney class lifeboat which was bult for the Royal Nataional lifeboat Institution (RNLI) based on a US Coastgauard design. It never received a name and was largely deployed on trials but did see service at Falmouth in 1978 and 1979. It is now part of the RNLI's historic lifeboat collection
