1936 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900A "Botticella" s/n 412004. "Botticella" refers to the barrel shape. Was restamped s/n 412006 end of 1936. In 1937 a different car "assumed" s/n 412004:

  • 3 May 1936. Won Mille Miglia (Brivio/Ongaro), one of 3 "Botticella" spiders entered by Scuderia Ferrari.
  • 1936: Spa 24 (Farina/Siena), Freiburg hillclimb (Farina), GP Modena (Severi)[1]
  • Changed to road car and restamped s/n 412006. Two-tone body.
  • November 1936: Shown at Paris Motor Show.[1]
  • 4 December 1936: Registered to Alfredo Brioschi in Milano as "MI 55316".
  • Ca 1941: Sold to Vittorio Roncorni
  • ??: Sold to Jean Studer, Switzerland. He raced it.
  • 1947. Sold to Hardy Fortmann.
  • ??. Sold to Alfred Sentfen. Coachworker Martin (in Bern, Switzerland) rebody it to spider (round grille)
  • 1971. Sold to Hans Matti, Switzerland (around Bern), "VD 52481"[2]
  • Sold to Paul Grist, UK. Rebuilt as "Botticella"
