Asher Brown Durand

English: Asher Brown Durand (August 21, 1796 - September 17, 1886) was a founding painter of the Hudson River School of Art. Before he became a painter, Asher Brown Durand worked as an engraver. He was born and died in South Orange (New Jersey).
