While I am always happy to liberate myself from updating the Moscow Metro map, as a fellow Wikimedian who should treat copyright with extra caution, you need to explain if ArtLebedev has licensed their map under CC-BY-SA-4.0 as you claim in the file description page. Otherwise it would need to be deleted because of copyright infringment. You can however upload a completely scaled down version to Russian Wikipedia locally under the Fair Use rationale. I also have copyright concern about your other recent uploads:

I do not think ArtLebedev licensed the scheme freely, and most likely it is a copyright violation.--Ymblanter (talk) 06:30, 5 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The previous version of their map is copyrighted: https://www.artlebedev.ru/metro/map3/vector/. For those who cannot read Russian, here's what is written right under the map:

The electronic map of Moscow Metro lines is free of charge for individuals and organizations. It is allowed to print it on posters, T-chirts, calendars, banners, and billboards, in magazines, booklets, and books, to use it in programs, on websites and for other purposes. The only condition is that an inscription should be placed next to the map: "© Art. Lebedev Studio".

The problem with this statement is that we cannot be sure if it is compatible with CC-BY-SA, specifically the right to commerical use and derive. Unless stated otherwise with NC (no commercial use) and/or ND (no derivatives) in the Creative Commons license, it is automatically assumed permission for commercial use and derivation, which could be against ArtLebedev's intention of allowing free-use. That's why I always stress that, if you want to upload ArtLebedev's work to Wikimedia Commons, you must ask them specifically to include an additional license of CC-BY-SA (NC and ND are not allowed on Commons, just so you know) in each of their works for clarity. This statement alone is insufficient. -- Sameboat - 同舟 (talk · contri.) 08:31, 5 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
In case someone has already tried but got no response from ArtLebedev so far, you may approach Ilya Birman who has also dedicated for quality transit diagrams. Of course none of his works are licensed under CC-BY-SA, but it's worth asking. -- Sameboat - 同舟 (talk · contri.) 08:55, 5 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello ZlotinAlik, the following content you uploaded violates one or more of our policies and therefore has been or will soon be deleted:

The Wikimedia Commons (this website) only hosts media files with a realistic educational purpose and that can be used for any purpose, including:
  • use in any work, regardless of content
  • creation of derivative works
  • commercial use
  • free distribution

See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons, and Commons:Image casebook for some specific examples. Some other Wikimedia projects have different licensing policies. For example, the English Wikipedia allows fair use of sounds and photographs. This is not the case on Wikimedia Commons; "fair use" materials are not acceptable here.

Please make sure that you only upload educational content you have created yourself, those which are out of copyright, or those for which you have the required permission for the work to be used in all the ways described above. Please note that derivative works of copyrighted material are also considered copyrighted. Again, please read through Commons:Licensing, which is quite crucial, to understanding how Wikimedia Commons works. Thanks for your contribution, and please do leave me a message if you have further questions.

And also:

Yours sincerely, Sealle (talk) 08:41, 5 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
