For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. This photo belong Neonfly band and their leader Frederick Thunder and posted in their official site http://www.neonfly.net and other their pages in free access. All these pics were made different photograhers for Neonfly band, all sources are given to them and they depict only members of the band in them, their covers of the albums and logo. What is the problem? What do I need to do? I'm not downloading them for my entertainment, I create a biography this band! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yulia Markhutova (talk • contribs) 16:52, 9 February 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Neonfly poster.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Neonfly poster.jpg]] ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

File copyright status
[edit]Welcome to Wikimedia Commons. While everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the project, one or more of your file uploads had missing or false information regarding its source and copyright status. Please note that Wikimedia Commons takes copyright rules and infringement very seriously. Files may only be uploaded and included if their copyright status meets the conditions stated in our licensing policy, and if their provenance is clearly documented. Files that fail to meet those conditions may be deleted, and users who fail to meet them may be blocked. Please follow our first steps, if you haven't already. If you have questions, feel free to ask at the Village Pump copyright question page or on my talk page. Thank you. --Patrick Rogel (talk) 16:20, 7 February 2020 (UTC)

Copyright violations
[edit]
Hello Yulia Markhutova.
You have uploaded one or more files that are copyright violations. You have done so despite requests from editors not to do so, and despite their instructions. See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules by subject matter useful. This is your last warning. The next time you upload a file that violates copyright, you will be blocked. Please leave me a message if you have further questions. |
--Patrick Rogel (talk) 23:25, 8 February 2020 (UTC)
I don't understand why you deleting Neonfly pics. All their photo spread a free accesse in their official site and other pages. Two days ago Frederick Thunder (owner Neonfly's band) tryed upload your own pics by my ask and how he was surprised when you deleted all his photos, but all photos of Neonfly's band are belonged to leader of band Frederick Thunder. What do we need to do so that we can uploading our own photos of band? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yulia Markhutova (talk • contribs) 16:30, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
- Almost every website is "free access"; it doesn't mean you are allowed to copy images from it so please urgently re-read the FAQs at the top of this page before uploading more images. You say Frederick Thunder is the copyright holder of these deleted pictures. It's unlikely since the copyright holder is almost always the photographer and not the person pictured so please have the photographer(s) sending a permission via COM:OTRS as it has been told you already January, 21 and February, 7. Kind regards, --Patrick Rogel (talk) 16:51, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
Hello Patrick Rogel, Thanks for your reply and help!
I understood your requirements, but I have two questions (we say only about music bands):
1. Frederick Thunder (leader his band) ordered and payed all pics his band. A photographer gave him the negatives of pictures and photos in electronic form. He bought this photos and became their owner and they are posted on all official sites of the band. Why doesn't he can published them? Does he need to request a letter from the photographer with confirmation of his property?
2. A cover of his firs album was created in 2008, but the creator of this cover has disappeared and is no longer reachable. What does he need to do in this case?
Thank you in advance! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yulia Markhutova (talk • contribs) 13:35, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
- Hi,
- Yes, either the photographers send directly their permission via COM:OTRS or Frederick Thunder sends the same way a permission with a copy of the transfert of ownership;
- If 2008 and published in UK, album cover is copyrighted 70 full years so will be public domain in 2079. There you must ask the record company to release its rights and sends a permission the same way.
- Kind regards, --Patrick Rogel (talk) 14:21, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
