Thanks for this upload. However, it's very important for you to provide the exact source for each one of these images, so that we can establish the license. I realize this may seem onerous, but please see COM:L; this is important, as, for some of the photos, it's unclear if it really is free. Patstuart 16:08, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
- For the same reason, I've had to tag some of your other images. And w:Image:UlrikaEricsson.jpg is a copyvio, so Image:Swedes.jpg has to be deleted (please pay attention to copyright). Patstuart 16:12, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
- Hi. Sorry for getting back to you so late (should I be writing this in your talk page or here? I don't really know how it works...). Anyway, I realised that I pretty much screwed up the first attempts at the Ethnic group collages, so I would like to request that all my previous collages (Image:Swedes.jpg, Image:Norwegians.jpg and Image:Punjabis.jpg be deleted. My newer uploads, which are all in the ethnic group collages category, are fully sourced and I will try to keep it that way from now on. Please check over that category and check that they are OK, if you find the time. Again, sorry, and thanks.
- No problem. One last request: please get rid of w:Image:ChandraNobel.png (copyrighted photo) and w:Image:Nusrat Fateh Ali khan Pakistan.jpg (likely copyvio, soon to be deleted). Thanks. Patstuart 00:20, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- Ironically, it turns out that Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar actually isn't a punjabi so I am going to make a new version of the collage. (I will also omit the unsourced Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan photo.) This new collage will be uploaded under the name "Punjabis (ethnic group).jpg", and I would like to request again that the "Punjabis.jpg" file be deleted. --Yenemus 19:58, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

Punjabis still a copyvio
[edit]Please see w:Image:ChandraNobel.png, w:Image:ChandraNobel.png, and w:Image:Nusrat Fateh Ali khan Pakistan.jpg (the latter is clearly incorrectly tagged). Please upload different files on top. Patstuart 16:40, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Not too sure what that image is trying to accomplish, but the Hebrew text runs in the wrong direction -- left-to-right instead of the correct right-to-left... AnonMoos 16:08, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

Hello Yenemus~commonswiki!
Thank you for providing images to Wikimedia Commons. Please keep in mind that images uploaded to Commons should be useful to all users of Wikimedia projects. This is possible only if the images can be found by other people.
To allow others to find the images you uploaded here, the images should be in some place that can be found by navigating the category structure. This means that you should put the images into appropriate topic pages, categories, optionally galleries, or both of them (see Commons:Categories). To find good categories for your images, the CommonSense tool may help.
You can find a convenient overview of your uploaded files in this gallery.
The important point is that the images should be placed in the general structure somewhere. There are a large number of completely unsorted images on Commons right now. If you would like to help to place some of those images where they can be found, please do!
Thank you. BotMultichillT (talk) 23:19, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Yenemus. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Yenemus~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
