Let me explain you clearly please, I created this map File:Viceroyalty of New Spain Location 1819 (without Philippines).png when I was the user Eddo but I forgot the password and I created another account and directed the previous userpage to mine, and recently I updated my map with minor changes, I'm the original-author so then do I upload the same map with different colours with another file name (it's not a "different version"). --Giggette (talk) 15:55, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

Yes. I understood that. I looked at the edit histories of the two accounts. Also, I saw redirect of Eddo. When someone objects to the upload of a new version of a file, unless it is obvious to everyone that it is in bad faith, please upload the new file under a new name. What you regard as improvements may not be shared by all. As 99of9 says, "thank you for providing two maps of high enough quality that people would fight to retain them!" I know I'm glad about 99of9 says, but my changes can't be considered bad faith or Commons:DONTOVERWRITE#DO NOT overwrite. Only they were aesthetic differences and added boundaries in the "Kingdom of Mexico" that I forgot to add in the previous map but the only thing that really has been changed is the colours and font, I used spanish colours and improved the quality of the map. --Giggette (talk) 05:53, 5 June 2013 (UTC)

I understand the changes but don't understand why you insist on replacing the old version. I agree with Alan, "Sinceramente yo no entraría en ningún tipo de guerra, no pasa nada por subirla de nuevo, ignorar la anterior y seguir adelante con la nueva. No one seems to dispute that you are both Eddo and Giggette. But, I would replace the redirect at User:Eddo with an explanation and a wikilink to User:Giggette. I thought Sven Manguard's closing statement was best for my purposes. It is a topic of which I know little, hence, I was unsure how to proceed initially. Sven Manguard stated a year ago that "de minimis does apply for logos on the torso section images, so they have to go."[2] Also, please use talk pages to discuss your differences of opinion, and review COM:OVERWRITE and pt:Wikipédia:Guerra de edições. Edit warring

Hello. You blocked Gustavo neto for a week nine days ago. He continues edit-warring on files without attention to the warnings.

• In File:Kit body POR13a.png; he edits the original file. If he thinks his version is more similar to real kit, he will upload his version on a new file name. But he continues edit-warring.
• In File:Kit body por13a.png; he uploads same of the File:Kit body POR13a.png. I revert this edit a few times, but he continues.

Put {{rename|newname.ext|numeric reason|text reason}} on the file page. The "numeric reason" must be a number between 1 and 7.
