Cartoon zur Panoramafreiheit

Es muß weniger heißen! Alles andere ergibt keinen Sinn, denn bei mehr als 70 Jahren sind die Urheberrechte abgelaufen! -- Herby (Vienna) (talk) 20:06, 24 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Notification about possible deletion

[edit]
Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Any interest?

[edit]

Please excuse my complete lack of knowledge of the German language.

I am the new editor-in-chief of The Signpost on the English Wikipedia. I'd love to have a news article on the shutdown for The Signpost. It would be much better to have somebody who reads German write the article! This could be you! Coverage should be about the decision process to call the shutdown, editors' reactions during and after the shutdown, coverage in the German media, and if possible, reactions from European politicians. Please contact me via my WP:EN talk page, or via the email link from that page. The best length might be 600-1200 words, but that will be mostly your decision.

We would also like to use your illustration File:UploadFilterManuell D.jpg, probably the German language version, with your English text translation below in the caption.

Any help appreciated.

@ User:Smallbones: The cartoon exists in English too: File:UploadFilterManuell_E.jpg, you can use it under free license. Bests, --Markus (talk) 17:14, 28 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The cartoon ran in the News and notes section ot The Signpost at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Wikipedia_Signpost/2019-03-31/News_and_notes
If you have any other cartoons you'd like to suggest, or even if you are up to the challenge of producing 1 cartoon monthly for The Signpost, please let me know. Smallbones (talk) 02:00, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
