Please remember that all uploads require source, author and license information. Could you please resolve these problems, which are described on the page linked in above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which information may be missing. Please note that if you won't provide a valid license in 7 days your image will be deleted and if you upload a lot of images without licenses you may be blocked from editing wikimedia-commons. Si vous n'avez pas créé ce contenu vous-même, vous devez indiquer les arguments qui expliquent pourquoi l'utilisation sur Wikimedia Commons est licite (voir ci-dessous). Si vous n'avez pas créé le média vous-même, vous devez aussi spécifier où vous l'avez trouvé, par exemple il s'agira bien souvent du site internet d'où vous l'avez prélevé, et les conditions d'utilisation qui sont indiquées sur ce site.

Si le média n'a pas non plus de message indiquant sa licence, vous devez en ajouter un. Si vous avez vous-même pris la photo, enregistré le contenu sonore, le contenu vidéo, vous pouvez utiliser {{GFDL-self}} pour le distribuer sous licence GFDL. Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Your account will be renamed

Hello,

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.

Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Wandobel. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Wandobel~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.

Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
