Kraftwerk Niederaußem

[edit]

Hallo Nick168, die Kategorie für das Kraftwerk Niederaußem ist Category:Kraftwerk Niederaußem. -- Ies (talk) 16:09, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo, les!
Habe ich da etwas falsch verstanden? Ich meine, dass bei der Kategorienbennenung stand, dass die Kategorie immer auf Englisch sein sollte. --Nick168 (talk) 21:42, 8 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Warning sign
This media was probably deleted.
A file that you have uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, File:Illustration Makemake.jpg, was missing information about where it comes from or who created it, which is needed to verify its copyright status. The file probably has been deleted. If you've got all required information, request undeletion providing this information and the link to the concerned file ([[:File:Illustration Makemake.jpg]]).

If you created the content yourself, enter {{Own}} as the source. If you did not add a licensing template, you must add one. You may use, for example, {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} or {{Cc-zero}} to release certain rights to your work.

If someone else created the content, or if it is based on someone else's work, the source should be the address to the web page where you found it, the name and ISBN of the book you scanned it from, or similar. You should also name the author, provide verifiable information to show that the content is in the public domain or has been published under a free license by its author, and add an appropriate template identifying the public domain or licensing status, if you have not already done so. Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Please add the required information for this and other files you have uploaded before adding more files. If you need assistance, please ask at the help desk. Thank you!

There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful information about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

Welcome, dear translation administrator!

[edit]

Hi Vogone, thanks for your application for translation administrator. Your request was closed as successful, and you've been added to the list of translation administrators.

Please take a moment to read our help page before marking pages for translation.

For existing translations

Make sure to move all existing translations to language subpages (/fr, /de, etc.). Pages with existing translations need to have them manually copied to the new system or some process to be created for it. Translation administrators must ensure existing translations don't get lost or hidden, or translators will be unhappy and we'll lose them.

Thank you for your contributions to Commons! --Steinsplitter (talk) 11:59, 26 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with existing translations being overwritten

[edit]

Sorry, I started the thread on the wrong page, it ended up on the talk page not the actual Admins noticeboard as I had intended, the trhread is now here.--KTo288 (talk) 19:23, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Inserting new lines between list items destroys them semantically

[edit]

Hi Vogone. You probably noticed that the lists look a little different after processing them in that way. Please cf.Commons:TN#Unordered lists. Comments welcome. -- Rillke(q?) 09:51, 15 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Request for feedback on my GSoC'14 proposal

[edit]

Hi Vogone,

I am planning to work on the project titled "Tools for mass migration of legacy translated wiki content" this summer under Google Summer of Code. I have drafted a proposal for the same over the past few weeks. This project is going to help the translation adminstrators like you in a great way, as it would completely automate the tedious manual task of preparing a page for translation and then importing the translations into the Translate extension. You can check the proposal page for detailed information on how I plan to accomplish this.

As you would be an end user of this tool, it would be great if you could go through the proposal and provide feedback/suggestions. Your feedback would definitely help me improve the proposal as well help in creating an even better tool. You can do the same on the discussion page of the proposal or reply here, whichever is convenient for you. I look forward to hearing from you! Thank you!

P.S: I need to submit the proposal to Google by March 19, 2014.

Please test the new feature Special:PageMigration

[edit]

As a Google Summer of Code Intern, I have been working on the Mass Migration tools project for Wikimedia. We are now ready with a minimal working product. The tool helps translators and translation administrators import the old translations into the Translate Extension.

An instance of the same has been set up on labs. You can find some useful instructions on the main page.

Please test the tool and report bugs/suggestions using the link provided on the main page itself. You can have a look at the tracking bug to check already reported bugs.

Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers. BPositive (talk) 15:01, 14 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

--H.A. (talk) 13:29, 18 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

In der Tat nicht, ich hatte es auf die vorbereitete Version aus der Versionsgeschichte zurückgesetzt und den Fehler dabei nicht bemerkt. --Vogone (talk) 13:35, 18 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your VFC installation method is deprecated

[edit]

Hello Vogone, we are aware that using the old installation method of VFC (via common.js, which you are using) may not work reliably anymore and can break other scripts as well. A detailed explanation can be found here. Important: To prevent problems please remove the old VFC installation code from your common.js and instead enable the VFC gadget in your preferences. Thanks! --VFC devs (q) 16:23, 22 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Code issues in User:Vogone/common.js

[edit]

Hi Vogone, I am a bored bot (this is kind of a computer program) that is watching the recent changes and tapping buttons like I did now.

Curious about the reason? Possibly not but I will tell you anyway:

  1. You edited User:Vogone/common.js. Glad to see you coding in javascript! Have you ever considered becoming a MediaWiki hacker?
  2. Though, that change appears to introduce 3 new jshint issues — the page's status is now having ERRORS. Note that invalid or ambiguous code often has unwanted side effects like breaking other tools for you. If you cannot find out how to fix it, I suggest blanking the page for now.
  3. To help you understanding where the issues are, I have aggregated a report here and now. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask users experienced in javascript writing for help. But do not ask the bot's operators (chronically overwrought) unless you suspect an error of mine. If you prefer not getting spammed by me, you can opt-out reports by adding {{ValidationOptOut|type=all}} to your user page or cmb-opt-out anywhere on your your global user page on Meta. Good luck at Wikimedia Commons and happy hacking!
  1. ISSUE: line 5 character 9: Expected an identifier and instead saw '}'. - Evidence: {{delete}}
  2. ISSUE: line 5 character 10: Variables should not be deleted. - Evidence: {{delete}}
  3. ISSUE: line 5 character 1: Unmatched '{'. - Evidence: {{delete}}

@Rillke: Is this intended behaviour that the bot spams talk page messages whenever a {{delete}} is being placed on a .js page? ;-) --Vogone (talk) 18:54, 22 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nachholtermin 17. Fotoworkshop

[edit]

Tschüß
Euer

Hello. I saw your name in my watchlist after a long time no see. I'm glad to see you're still around and I hope that you've been well, and that you're staying safe and healthy in this difficult times we're living. Best regards, —MarcoAurelio 21:42, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your kind message! I have the great luck to live in a safe place, but of course the number of directly affected people arriving here increases day-by-day, and it is heart-breaking to see. Let me return your wishes, combined with the hope for better times. :-) --Vogone (talk) 11:20, 16 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
