- I am confused about this image's stated lack of information about where it comes from or who created it. The description of this image says: "1916 first page of the pencil first draft of The Play of Everyman in blank verse by George Sterling. Photo by Vince Emery. This pencil first draft is in the Local History Room of the Harrison Memorial Library in Carmel, California. Sterling wrote this page in December, 1916; the writing is 106 years old and therefore in the public domain. Sterling died November 17, 1926, 96 years ago, so all his works are in the public domain. I declare this photograph itself taken by me to be in the public domain and can be freely used by anyone." What more information is needed? I will be glad to help any way I can. Thank you.
