He has earned MBBS from King George's Medical University, and MD Medicine from another university. During school education Varun represented Bharatpur district for two consecutive years (1994-95, 1995-96) at Rajasthan level in a science fair organised by NCERT.

He is younger son of Chaudhary udayveer Singh. Varun Chaudhary is married with a homeopathic doctor.

Other than treating patients, Varun Chaudhary is a recognised author. He has written many poetries and a book 'Kumbh mela: ek doctor ki yatra'. Recently, he became second runner-up of national level poetic maharathi contest.
