Ethnic_Groups_in_the_World.jpg
[edit]Hi!
I think there could be a problem with your map: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Ethnic_Groups_in_the_World.jpg
As you can see in Wikipedia, in the whole Paraguay "about 95% of the people are mestizo". On your map, however, the most densely populated part of the country stands as caucasoid. You can google "paraguayos" and get an idea of what I mean.
Similarly, All the northern provinces of Argentina from Formosa to San Juan, and north of Corrientes are mixed: 60% between natives and mestizos; 40% whites.
A couple of other things to consider:
- The very south of the USA has hispanic majority, I believe that applying green colour does not reflect the demographic reality.
- The ethnic russian population of Vladivostok and the island of Sakhalin is 76% and 83% respectively, but they are marked as mongolid. This map illustrates the distribution of ethnic russians in each oblast (state). It does not include ethnic germans or ukrainians, so caucasoid percentages should be 2%-3% higher
- Armenians are classified under "arab", but I believe they pass more for europeans

about the Province of Misiones: correct
[edit]The Argentinian province of Misiones, is mostly populated by whites (Caucasians). 95% of its population is descended from Europeans, mainly Italians and Spaniards, as are the other Argentinian provinces. There are very few mestizos in this area. Misiones is, perhaps, the only province in Northern Argentina with a large Caucasian majority. There are also very few who settled temporarily in Brazil before arriving at Misiones. --190.183.247.1 12:31, 5 October 2019 (UTC)
Regarding my province, Misiones, the map is correct. Because in the province of Misiones the vast majority of its population is Caucasian (90% white of European origin, and in their vast majority Spanish). So the Province of Misiones should be kept in light green. --138.186.160.159 08:23, 2 June 2020 (UTC)

Hola. Saludos. Lin linao ¿dime? 08:41, 4 August 2013 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Undress 006. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Undress 006~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
