Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.
Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.

Made a mistake?

Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.
Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Hello. EugeneZelenko was working based on the fact that the copyright for these images and media appear to belong to the band. Because 95% of what we get from third parties turns out to be a copyright violation, we have a system where the copyright holders can send a private email to verify their identities, which it appears wasn't done in this case. If the band was OK with the licensing requirements, please let me know here (with this template: {{ping|Magog the Ogre}}), and I will explain how we can get the images restored. @Magog the Ogre: I appreciate the reply, Magog. Yes, because this isn't the first time I've had to prove my connection with the copyright holders, I'm getting pretty good at it despite my absence when it counts. I can have another email sent from Jamey Blaze as I did in 2013 about two other one of the same pictures. Tylermacmore (talk) 20:42, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

He has forwarded me the emails he sent to permissions. He released three out of four, when I told him of the other one I didn't hear from him for a bit until tonight. I got him to send in another one, but it's not the missing one. I put it up tonight as a place holder. Please let me know if you can get all of them back.
