Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Picture date

Hello Tuuli55,
just read your Taken in Estonia 21.11.2014. Sorry, the date on the camera is wrong. - thanks for adding that sentence - I was quite sure that that must be the case (I'm checking the pictures for Leaves), as I didn't believe that to be a July picture - even in Estonia, but it's nice to have it confirmed. ;->

Thanks for catching my mistake - I just correct it (as the program I used to crop the picture doesn't attach the EXIF-data to the new file, the upload date was the only true date in that file). Funnily enough, the only connection I have to roses is my interest in the rose galleries on commons and in photographing them (which led to correcting/writing a few rose cultivar on the English and German wikipedia). If you do have some pictures of identified cultivars, perhaps you could upload them here? --Anna reg (talk) 15:32, 1 December 2014 (UTC)

December challenges

Hello Tuuli55,
thanks for your link - I did like it. And don't be afraid to upload pictures - a lot of uploaders here at least started as beginners. I really like some of the pictures you uploaded so far (e.g. File:Sinilill (Hepatica nobilis).jpg and File:Miljonivaade Aksi saarelt.jpg, which sadly are very small - are they crops or downscaled pictures?). You have a good eye for interesting shots and very nice compositions - the only problem is that some of pictures seem a bit blurry...
By the way, the December themes Bad weather and Household items in use) and the voting for Leaves and Smoke are now well underway - perhaps you're interested in helping to determine the winners? The only restriction is that you can't vote for your own pictures...
