- Thank you for contacting me. I have read your information. --Tryptofish (talk) 21:39, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
- I'm not sure why you would think I contacted you about a veterinary page. I contacted you to say that Rlevse did commit plagiarism and that Montanabw's comments to you and Ealdgyth were completely wrong. I don't know how you misconstrued that so completely, or why you would think an academic who pioneered the copyright investigations with 12 FAs, over 40 GAs, and over 200 DYK has "little credibility" with you. - The reason that I briefly was confused and thought that you contacted me about a page that is somewhat related to veterinary matters is that, as of the time that I read your first message to me here, that was the only page where I and Montanabw had interacted in any depth. I had not yet seen Montanabw reply to me at Rlevse's RfA, so I had no idea that it was about that, and I thought that you were warning me that Montanabw might copyvio at the veterinary-related page, an assertion that seemed odd to me. Of course, I subsequently realized that this was a misunderstanding on my part. As it ended up, I continued to maintain my "oppose" view at the RfA, and Rlevse subsequently withdrew. The credibility matter concerns the fact that, as you can see, I was quite able to form my own opinion about the RfA myself, and it did not in any way require me forming a bad opinion of Montanabw. In fact, my opinion of Montanabw is very positive, and it just happens that I disagreed with them about the RfA. I often disagree with other editors about a particular issue, while remaining on friendly terms with them, and not seeing it as anything personal. Anyway, the RfA is over, and you and I probably do not need to discuss this matter any further. --Tryptofish (talk) 21:47, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
