More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel irc:wikimedia-commons #wikimedia-commons (direct access). Hi! You uploaded a new version of my picture. Thanks for improving it, but please don't compress it that much. The original picture weighed 2.48MB; it now weighs 529KB, which makes it unusable for print. Can you please upload a new version of your work with minimal compression? Thanks a lot. - Thanks! Commons pictures of museum artefacts are often used in academic publications; it's important that pictures can be used in print. Jastrow (Λέγετε) 12:09, 24 September 2011 (UTC)
File:Joachim II (Cranach).jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |
