Pay attention to copyright
File:Dreamory 2014.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.

The file you added may soon be deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please replace the copyvio tag with {{subst:OP}} and have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you disagree that the file is a copyright violation for any other reason, please replace the copyvio tag with a regular deletion request.

Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

@Magog the Ogre: Hi, I am the one who uploaded the pictures. I would like to argue that these contents are not "found on the web" as you described. I know the producers of those contents and was authorized by them to upload those documents to Wikipedia, with which they are not familiar. There is no copyright violation whatsoever and my act was with consent of copyright holders.

I expect you to review your decision.

@Magog the Ogre: Please reply. This is urgent.

I've restored the files, and given instructions below on how to prove that you have permission from the owner. You should have a week or so to complete the process. Let me know if you have any questions or it takes too long. Thanks. Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 03:52, 22 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.
Thanks for uploading File:Dreamory 2014.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

Warning: unless the permission information is given, the file may be deleted after seven days. Thank you.

@Magog the Ogre: Dear Magog the Ogre, The copyright holder of two pictures Dreamory 2014 and Closing Ceremony sent an email to Wikimedia Commons in accordance with the instructions you gave. Please check and confirm their status.

It may take a while for the copyright holder of the last one, the logo to follow suit.

Yours Sincerely User:Thieugia1101

@Magog the Ogre: Dear Magog the Ogre, please help me confirm if the status of File:Closing Ceremony of AY 2013-2014 at HNUE High School.jpg and File:Dreamory 2014.jp has been verified? Copyright holder sent an email to Wikimedia Commons at permissions-commons@wikimedia.org for this purpose. For the last item, there is a change of mind and we would like to upload it under non-free logos license (which we find most universities' such as Harvard's or MIT's under). I wonder if you can provide instructions for that way. Thanks! Thieugia1101 (talk) 00:52, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I can't find the ticket; I searched for both HNUE and PTCMedia. If you want to upload something as a non-free logo, you can do so at some English Wikipedia. Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 01:09, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Magog the Ogre: Dear Magog the Ogre, I checked with the copyright holder and she seemed to have made a mistake by attaching the release terms to the email instead of putting the release terms in the email body. Please search the ticket again. This time you will likely find it.Thieugia1101 (talk) 05:51, 1 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Already done, it seems. Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 02:42, 2 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
