Hi, you nominated your work for speedy deletion with the reason: no freedom of panorama (FOP) in France. The image shows a old (?) Castle, so FOP is not important here.
Images which shows statues, buildings (with a special design), or other works (toys, even a newspaper) in the focus of the images are derivative Works. In many countrys (like in germany) there is a freedom of panorama, which allows derivative works of statues and so on if the photo was taken at a public place outside of buildings. In some countrys this is not ok because there is no FOP, like in France. BUT: The object of your image must be copyrighted. An old building like your castle is public domain because the architect who build the castle died a long time ago, the castle is public domain and so there are no rights concerning your image. The image at the top of the Helppage Commons:Derivative shows this very good. I removed the deletion request of your image, if there are any questions just ask me. --Martin H. - P.S.: Ich vermute anhand deines Namens und deinem Account für die deutsche Wikipedia, dass ich mir das Englisch auch hätte sparen können, wenn noch Fragen sind einfach fragen. --Martin H. (talk) 02:18, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
