Thanks for helping!

[edit]

Hi Sro23, thanks for helping out this morning by reverting the vandalism/trolling. Regards, AFBorchert (talk) 06:11, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

INeverCry sock

[edit]

Hi, are you using a mass rollback tool to revert these edits? it would be useful if I see any more of her socks. Cheers. Rodhullandemu (talk) 18:09, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No, but that would certainly make things easier. Do you know of any uh, scripts maybe that I could install for this purpose? Sro23 (talk) 18:12, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I've just found this:
  • importScriptURI('//en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Writ Keeper/Scripts/massRollback.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript');

if you add it to your to your Commons.js script, that will work. It puts a "More" dropdown next to the "Search" box on the user's Contribs page. Rodhullandemu (talk) 18:21, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I have installed. Sro23 (talk) 19:05, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The sock made nearly 8,000 edits. I can't rollback them all at once on my own; could use some help here. Sro23 (talk) 19:26, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I thought I'd got them all, but I'll take a look. Rodhullandemu (talk) 19:41, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I've done a load but I've got to a stage where they are actually useful, e.g. categorising images without cats, so I think it best to leave it there. Rodhullandemu (talk) 19:49, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I kept hitting the rollback throttle limit which I didn't even know existed. Sro23 (talk) 19:54, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't get that; I think that's because I've got the admin bit. Rodhullandemu (talk) 01:20, 31 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Double standard or...

[edit]

So you say Russavia being able to edit freely here is unfair, and yet you continue to tag only my socks. Are you afraid of Russavia? Most admins and editors here are. Or are you working with Russavia? Quite a few admins and editors here are doing that too. People continue to judge me, but they won't say boo if they think Russavia is within hearing range. Commons is run by cowards, and you've added one to their number. Remember all this when you lecture me or tell me about bi-polar. You don't have episodes of mania when you're doing everything safe and robotic. You'll be an admin and maybe even a CU at some point, but you'll be a crappy little AINO hypocrite like Rod and Guanaco. I dare any Commons admin to block a WMF-banned and admin blocked sockmaster with several thousand socks (Russavia), or any editor to tag or report him to ca@wikimedia.org. So far I'm the only one who's had the guts to do that (with hundreds of Russavia socks). 36.72.16.251 06:16, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not afraid of him, just not familiar with that particular sockmaster, so if he is currently active, I'm not seeing it. You, on the other hand, have been using multiple obvious socks a day. Sro23 (talk) 06:31, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Not familiar? He categorizes and uploads aviation images. That's it. You came from Wikipedia to Commons just for me, and you got familiar with my socking real quick. His socks are more than obvious. I blocked 100+ of them and reported at least 500. You could to. Easily. CypherPunk777 (talk) 18:40, 4 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Gave Effect

[edit]

That's Shiwam. He always uploads that same copyvio photo of Shraddha Arya, often claiming to be "Flicker" or a bot. Guanaco (talk) 19:28, 15 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Pumpie and Terriffic Dunker Guy on Wikipedia

[edit]

I hav made my response on my recent Wikipedia edits. My response to my explanation is I should not do any more errors there, it should hav fixed it. I went on an editing break for two weeks, another one is coming up soon for me as it is the summer season. I write with spelling corrections and if full corrections needs to me made on one article, I will do it. I should had put the Taking a break template on my talk page on Wikipedia which includes other Wikimedia projects. My minor spelling errors has to be fixed

You hav compared edits on Wikipedia between Pumpie and Terriffic Dunker Guy. A user who is struggling and aiming for correct spelling and proper translation should not argue on the question for blocking a user. I do not often use the enormous editor interaction report which is the EEIA. I don't hav much time to use the EEIA as I go to other sites, including web games. The edit comparisons are parallel. Only some has a few errors and needs to be made. Since I am more educated, I can avoid some or numerous spelling errors, continue to spellcheck some articles where available while I am editing. Even a few additional users can continue to spellcheck, correct minimal errors in my articles and fix a few horrible translations. Also a few additional users can giv (give) me more help in my editing skills, in some parts, new articles (from articles being translated into English, it requires a reference or two to be added, in some parts, alongside with a photo).

For now, I'll hav to limit my edits in few parts, as late as a few weeks. But my editing skills at Wikipedia continues to improve. I also continue to read some more articles photos and other works later as well as some TV shows, primarily from Netflix.

The block made on myself, the Terriffic Dunker Guy at Wikipedia should not been made when the user went on a break from editing, even for two weeks.

Also I made a request of trying to becoming an administrator at Wikipedia and Commons. This one, a low-level administrator, for newcomers.

After explanations that Wikipedia's Terriffic Dunker Guy did, the user should be unblocked as I already made the response

[edit]

I posted my response to my minimal editing problems at Wikipedia yesterday, as I already answered and responded to the message first sent about two weeks ago on my talk page at Wikipedia, the user should have been unblocked. When the user returns, further follow a tiny bit more in the editing guidelines and in some fields, rivers, slow down my edits to a level where its spelling are correct, corrected by myself or another user. My edits will be partly slow for a few weeks. I can normally edit when the spelling levels are correct. If one or two sentences are still with partly with proper spelling and without errors, I or another user will fix it. Additional users, one or two should protect me from being blocked from Wikipedia and after I become an administrator (first level), I will remain protected but I always follow the guidelines. Already understood on one part, I cannot create or translate an article with just two or three sentences unless it comes with a table, a photo (including a map one) and a few references (largely from perfect translation from other languages, some based from). Several has to be about a page long (according to a window screen with 1,000 x 600 pixels.

The EEIA should not often be used, even as one user's edit is better than the others, a user's edit's reputation should be remain kept as a user is following the guidelines. The edit comparisons with two different users with the EEIA should not often be used in some parts.

I do not want to create another user that may be another sock puppet as I am a good and a tolerable user there, my reputation cannot be partly harmed, I continue following the codes and guidelines and use proper spelling. I want to log into Wikipedia again as the same user.

Don't forget that I will continue to read at Wikipedia and Wikisource as well as a few external sites. Also I will be a bit more educated with that. Thanks.

A request to become a Wikipedia adiministrator by Terriffic Dunker Guy

[edit]

I also made yesterday on an application of becoming a Wikipedia administrator as well as a Commons administrator. Article reads alongside some edits but in good English language spelling, included, some of my edits that I made at Google Maps (outside Wikimedia as well as Open Street Map) as I am a user there but recently less active than I was a few years ago, several updates were related with Greater Patras, northern Ilia, Arcadia's Gortynia and some surroundings in Greece. My planned application to become an administrator is kept and my decision is likely not to remove my application to become an administrator.
