User talk:Simleuan
Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content). You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki. More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump. |

File:Prinţesa gheţurilor.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.) Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Low-resolution duplicates
[edit]Please don't upload any more low-resolution duplicates of files that already exist on Commons, especially not with such sloppy file descriptions. Your claims that the authors were unknown were invariably false. —LX (talk, contribs) 10:14, 7 October 2012 (UTC)
- Which part of the above was unclear? The full-resolution of File:Giovanni Allevi..jpg already existed on Commons as File:Giovanni Allevi.jpg, and unlike your version, it has a proper file description. Absolutely no reason for your upload. You need to stop doing this. —LX (talk, contribs) 21:14, 12 October 2012 (UTC)
- File:Sediul Ferrero.jpg already existed on Commons in full resolution with proper source and licensing information as File:Ferrero Headquarter (Nutella company).jpg. Your claim that the author is unknown is once again a lie. The author is clearly stated on the original file description. Same thing with File:Nutella.jpg (File:Nutella ak.jpg). —LX (talk, contribs) 18:19, 15 October 2012 (UTC)
- And again with File:Bernard Loiseau.jpg (File:Bernard and Dominique Loiseau.jpg), File:Joan Osborne.jpg (File:Joan-Osborne-2.jpg) and File:Joyce Jonathan.jpg (File:Joyce Jonathan NRJ Music Awards 2012.jpg). Since this disruptive behaviour of yours shows no sign of ceasing, I've asked for your account to be blocked. I realise that communicating (or even acknowledging in any way that others are trying to communicate with you) does not really seem to be your thing, but if you have any reason as to why you should not be blocked (or why you should be unblocked), please comment here. —LX (talk, contribs) 17:00, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

Copyright violations
[edit]
Hello Simleuan.
You have uploaded one or more files that are copyright violations. You have done so despite requests from editors not to do so, and despite their instructions. See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules by subject matter useful. This is your last warning. The next time you upload a file that violates copyright, you will be blocked. Please leave me a message if you have further questions. |

You have been blocked for a duration of one month
[edit]You have been blocked from editing Commons for a duration of one month for the following reason: continue to upload scaled-down images from Commons or other wikis without properly stating source.
If you wish to make useful contributions, you may do so after the block expires. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may add {{unblock|(enter your reason here) ~~~~}} below this message explaining clearly why you should be unblocked. See also the block log. For more information, see Appealing a block.
