I got tiered of fighting windmills and went on vacation at least from FP reviews.

Ever thought of reviewing at COM:VIC if it is uniqueness and value you are looking for and not pixel counting? -- Slaunger (talk) 21:30, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the invitation, Slaunger. I trust you know that I was viciously and unfairly attacked by Lycaon, Sanchezn and some other users equally for my "support" and my "oppose" votes. I also saw the comment you left on Lycaon talk page about reopening COM:VIC nomination. I believe he did wrong. The image was probably OK to get the VI promotion, but I did not like the way he dealt with it. According to all of the above I've decided to abstain from reviewing the images in all Commons projects. While I will never agree with some users reviews of FP images, I still would like to thank everybody including Lycaon with the great and much needed job they're doing on Commons. --Sensl (talk) 17:55, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think neither I nor Lycaon, handled that VIC particularly elegant. The point in that matter is that it ended peacefully as we both understood it was one big misunderstanding. Such misunderstandings often occur in a multilingual, written environment such as this. And while it may seem ugly while it happens, it is really no big deal. Anyway, I respect your stance on doing reviews here (although I have a different opinion myself). If, at some stage you feel for reviewing here again, do come back. Until then, cheers, -- Slaunger (talk) 21:02, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
