Power station in blocks.jpg
[edit]Hi Robert,
I have a comment to your very nice overview of power plant principles in you contributed Power station in blocks.jpg
Heat from the Rankine cycle is listed as being "Waste heat" as opposed to heat from the Brayton cycle being "Cogeneration". Both really should be listed as cogeneration; here in Scandinavia and parts of Northern Europe, most Rankine based power plants are in fact designed to coproduce heat (at the expense of a smaller loss in power), either with a counter pressure design (where no steam energy is lost) or by steam extractions (for limited heat export). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Claush66 (talk • contribs) 07:50, 7 December 2017 (UTC)
