Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content). You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki. More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump. |

Wikimedia Commons has a specific scope

Also: Do not reupload the same old image again, or the warnings will shift in intensity to "no more problems." Ellin Beltz (talk) 16:27, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
Why am I blocked?
[edit]--Rita saber1 (talk) 20:56, 7 December 2016 (UTC)
You are blocked because when we find a sockpuppet we leave the initial account open and block all subsequent ones. I will reverse that here. . Jim . . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 21:00, 7 December 2016 (UTC)
I warned you not to raise the subject of the birth certificate again, "The next time you mention this file anywhere on Commons, you will be blocked." Take the next week to decide whether you want to be a contributing member of Commons or someone who wastes a lot of Administrator time raising the same deletion over and over again after six Administrators have told you it was valid and appropriate. . Jim . . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 01:24, 9 December 2016 (UTC)
You are being childish and stupid at the same time!
[edit]It wasn't your decision and the title of this "section" was directed at the admin I mentioned above. You are obviosuly on something. I suggest you cut off drinking during the daytime! --Rita saber1 (talk) 20:57, 9 December 2016 (UTC)
You have been indefinitely blocked
[edit]You have been indefinitely blocked from editing Commons for the following reason: Continuing pattern of insult, lack of personal responsibility and commitment to the scope of the project. Ellin Beltz (talk) 16:27, 10 December 2016 (UTC).
If you believe this block is unjustified, you may add {{unblock|(enter your reason here) ~~~~}} below this message explaining clearly why you should be unblocked. See also the block log. For more information, see Appealing a block.
