Lowman & Hanford Building
[edit]FYI: https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=File:Alaskan_Way,_Seattle,_1939,_looking_south_across_Yesler_Way.jpg&diff=319774527&oldid=319763832 - Jmabel ! talk 22:28, 11 September 2018 (UTC)
- Why did you then do https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=File:Alaskan_Way,_Seattle,_1939,_looking_south_across_Yesler_Way.jpg&diff=319877154&oldid=319774527? I had already removed the incorrect photo. L&H's printing plant is right there in the middle of the photo. - Jmabel ! talk 18:52, 12 September 2018 (UTC)
- My thinking was that any images included in Category:Lowman & Hanford Stationery and Printing Company should have an immediately obvious link to the company, and on second thought it seemed that a photo annotation did not meet that criteria. I'm also a little unclear on details such as the difference between the Lowman & Hanford building (which you let me know was not shown in the image) and the printing company itself (which is shown). Due to my uncertainty I removed it from the category. - User:riesengrey
